The EUROArray HLA-DQ2/DQ8 Direct test system is exclusively designed for the molecular genetic determination of disease-associated HLA-DQA1 and HLA-DQB1 alleles coding for the alpha- and beta-subunits of the HLA-DQ2 and HLA-DQ8 molecules, respectively. For DQ2, both isoforms, HLA-DQ2.2 and HLA-DQ2.5 are detected.

The EUROArray HLA-DQ2/DQ8 direct test system enables fast and easy HLA-DQ2/DQ8 detection to assess the genetic predisposition to coeliac disease and other HLA-DQ2/DQ8-associated diseases. In the direct method full blood samples can be used directly without the need of separate DNA isolation.

The EUROArray Lactose Intolerance Direct test system is designed for molecular genetic in vitro determination of the two polymorphisms at positions -13910 (C/T) and -22018 (G/A) in the promoter region of the lactase (LCT) gene. The detection aids diagnosis of primary lactose intolerance. Typical symptoms are abdominal pain, nausea, meteorism and diarrhoea following consumption of lactose-containing products.
