FV / FII+ / MTHFR Direct EUROArray

The EUROArray FV / FII+ / MTHFR Direct enables fast and simple determination of the point mutations factor V Leiden (1691G>A), factor II (prothrombin) 20210G>A and/or MTHFR 677C>T and 1298A>C in a single test run. The direct method allows the direct use of whole blood samples without prior time- and cost consuming DNA isolation. 

The most important and most common genetic risk factors for thromboembolism are factor V and factor II mutations 20210G> A. Moreover, two polymorphisms in the MTHFR gene are associated with increased levels of homocysteine ​​(hyperhomocysteinemia), which is also considered a risk factor for thrombosis.
