The Calprotectin ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative determination of calprotectin (MRP (8/14, S100A8/A9) in urine.
Calprotectin is a calcium-binding protein secreted predominantly by neutrophils and monocytes.
Indications:
- Detection of urothelial (transitional cell) carcinoma of the bladder.
Exclusion criteria:
- Acute kidney injury, renal transplantation, urinary tract infection, pyuria, previous BCG treatment, secondary transurethral resection of the bladder tumor.
