The Pancreatic amylase ELISA kit is an enzyme immunoassay intended for the quantitative determination of pancreatic amylase in stool.
Like lipase and elastase, the pancreatic amylase is synthesised in the pancreas. In case of a chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic amylase is decreased.
Indications:
• Chronic pancreatitis;
• Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.
