CZAPEK-DOX LAB-AGAR™ is utilized commonly for the cultivation of fungi and chlamydospore formation by Candida albicans. For the cultivation of acidophilic organisms such as yeast the activity of the medium may increased. It is also used for taxonomic studies of Aspergillus, Penicillium and Actinomycetes.
